 Betsey B. Winslow Elementary
Buzzing with Curiosity, Kindness & Excellence

A little history on our school: What makes it special? Betsey B Winslow is named after a New Bedford educator, Betsy Baldwin Winslow. Miss Winslow was an educator for over 20 years and beloved by her community. She was also an active member on the New Bedford School Committee. In total, Winslow served 39 years in education (the longest serving term until 2015). When Miss Winslow finally retired in 2015, her dedication, inspiration and diligence to women and students throughout this community were recognized. Betsey was the first living person to have a school named after her!

Like the bee, we defy the odds, we soar beyond expectations, and work together to inspire greatness.
